1930 Packard

There were 39 of this model Boattail Speedster built in 1930. In 1991, it was verified that there were 11 still remaining. Although many more have been reproduced by Frand Roxas, they do not carry the proper serial numbers but their bodies are identical. This 734 is an authentic car and carries the serial number 184040.  For 25 years the car was owned by L. Morgan Yost who was the founder and president of the Packard Club. He sold it in 1981 when it was quality restored in its present condition and then sold to William Rayburn, president of Snap On Tools. I purchased it in 1988 and is used daily. There is an in-depth article in Special Interest Autos, Number 126, November/December, 1991.
